Welcome to the first weekly update for the 2017-18 academic year. Everyone has returned looking very smart in their uniforms, well equipped and ready to face the challenges ahead.
The new P1 children have all started with great excitement, not a bit nervous to come and see what Mrs Decodts has in store for them. They all enjoyed the hunt for the Gingerbread man who was running all around the school!
The P2's were delighted "naughty David" was caught after terrorising their classroom - he was told off and won't be back!
The new Nursery children have also all started, and although there have a few wee minor wobbles about leaving mummy or daddy, they are all settling well.
We had our first assembly this morning in which we reminded ourselves of the school rules and their importance. 3 girls were presented certificates in assembly as they sat music exams at the end of June. Jessica Gilbert passed Grade 1 in clarinet and Kiera Craig and Molly Maguire both passed Grade 1 in violin. (Mia Buick who has just left us also passed her Grade 1 voilin.)
