House Bake Off competition

The absolutely highlight of this week was the House Bake Off competition! The children in P4-7 are all in a house, either Lagan, Farset, Connswater or Blackstaff. Their challenge this week was to bake a cake, cupcakes, cookies with an Easter/Spring theme. The entries were absolutely amazing, so much thought, time and energy was invested to bake some fabulous looking goodies! It was incredibly hard to judge but we awarded a top 3 in each house and the overall winner was the cake above which was the entry of Denis from Farset house - well done! Everyone in the school then got to buy the entries and we found out not only did the cakes and buns look good but they tasted delicious too.

The whole day raised £400 to send to provide aid in Ukraine.

Other excitements this week included a P4 Park Life trip with Lucille, P5 started swimming, the photographer took the class photos for Nursery, P1 and P7, a Cash for Clobber collection and a first dress rehearsal of the KS2 show.
