Anti-bullying Week

This week was Anti-bullying Week. We were all focusing on being kind and were writing down 'Random Acts of Kindness' that happened to us during the week. Mrs Hackett picked out a few from each class to read out in assembly this morning and P1 made this lovely heart of their kind hands.

To mark anti-bullying week we took part in Odd Sock Day on Tuesday. Everyone came to school in their odd socks to show how we all like to celebrate how different we all are.

Operation Christmas Child

This year we took part in the Shoebox Appeal for Operation Christmas Child. Lots of people brought in a nicely wrapped shoebox full of lovely gifts for different aged children. We thank everyone who took part.

New Skill in P7

The P7 pupils were learning a new skill today. They were attempting to master cross stitch and were creating Christmas themed patterns. Some were a natural, others required a little support from either the adults or their peers who had already mastered the skill.

It was a nice relaxing day before th first SEAG Transfer test tomorrow morning.
