A Happy New Year from everyone at Dunmurry Primary School. It has definitely been a chilly start to January, and we had a lot of fun playing in the icy conditions.
Cheque Presentation
This morning at assembly we were delighted to welcome Sarah from the N.I. Hospice. We did an official cheque presentation for all the money the children raised last term in memory of Mrs Pierce, and she explained to us how valuable the contribution is and all the good things that the Hospice does to support adults, children and their families. Thank you again to everyone who supported the children by sponsoring them and helping them with their baking.
Practical Learning
P1 have had a very busy first week back at school. They have been learing all about healthy and unhealthy food and enjoyed some practical maths with fruit and vegetables, discovering what is heavier or lighter.
